I am happy to announce that Thomas at onlyhereonlynow.com and Wendy at meaningfulwesternlife.com have both nominated this blog for the Beautiful Blogger Award! I am truly touched by their kindness and really enjoy both of their blogs.
I’ve been following Wendy’s blog for a while now and really enjoy her posts. I think there is some overlap in the things that we have a passion for. . . mindfulness, mediation. . . creating a peaceful life filled with compassion and purpose. Check out the meditation downloads that she has offered to us on her blog!
Thomas and I also have passions that crossover. He shares on his about page living with aging parents, living with dying in the family, and living with someone he loves who has a forgetfulness disorder. I can appreciate all of those things as they are my story as well.
I came to wordpress to find some sanity, to create community, and to get reacquainted with that which means the most to me in life. . . I feel so blessed that we have this larger community in which we can all connect through blogs and comments.
We help each other to remember our greatest good, our most important lessons, and that we are all interconnected.
Thank you so much for your nominations.

This is so cool! I’m really happy that you got the award. This is such a great blog. It’s fitting, and exciting to see you expand, expand, expand.
Neat place to be.
Congratulations
Meredith.
I try not to get wrapped up in approval or disapproval but my ego has come out of hiding and values an opinion from a person like you.
You do angels work and handle situations beyond my abilities.
A thanks Jenifer

🙂 Thank you is not often said enough so I’m glad you’re accepting mine! PTSD (C-PTSD) and healing from trauma are so important. You dedicate a lot of time, energy, and resources to helping others. That should have a spot light shone on it for no other reason than so that other’s know your work is out there to help them! (and there are so many more reasons). I have sent a number of people to your blog … classmates that are very interested in trauma and don’t feel like it gets the interest that it really needs.
I honor you and your light Marty!
